Dr. Campbell currently serves the social work profession as the Cultural Competence Co-Chair (2018 - ) with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). She previously served a three-year term as a Councilor on the Council on Disabilities and Persons with Disabilities (2014-2017), also with CSWE.
Dr. Campbell was on the Advisory Board for Alexander Street from 2015 to 2017 as the worked to build a online collection of social work resources.

Dr. Campbell has dedicated her time and expertise to serve UGA's School of Social Work as well as the larger UGA community.
In the SSW, she currently serves on the Faculty Executive Committee (2016 - ), MSW Program Committee (2012 - ), and as faculty advisor for the UGA chapter of the Association of Black Social Workers (2015 - ). She previously served the SSW as a member of the Grade Appeals (2014-2017), MSW Curriculum Redesign (2014-2017), and MSW Faculty-Student Committees (2015-2016).
At the University-level, Dr. Campbell serves on the Intercultural Engagement Certificate Design Committee (2016 - ). She was previously the advisor for the undergraduate chapter of To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA) (2015-2017) and was the SSW Faculty Representative on the Faculty Admissions Committee (2014-2016).
